Codfish United played a strong game on Sunday the 24th of January against AFC Red. Sam and McKenzie couldn’t make it so they only had one sub. Heidi and Sarah played right forward for most of the game and Olivia played a strong left. Cecilia was awesome on midfield and Holly was fantastic on defense. Heidi played a little on midfield and she was great. Caitlyn was our goalie for the game and she was outstanding! Though the girls played well, they lost the game 6-5. After the game, they all received bags (designed by Codfish Gear) with their last names printed on them.

Codfish United finished out the 1st Winter Session with a win! That left out with a fantastic 12-0-0 record. “Cod United came prepared for a battle with only 5 player. That meant NO SUBS.. The MLK holiday sent many of our girls on vacation. A special shout out to Olivia,Sam,Cecilia,Kelsie and especially Our outstanding Goalie of the day Caitlyn. All the girls played there absolute AAA game to Quote Coach Laynie… Congratulations… CODFISH UNITED on a fabulous session .. Good Luck next session in A division!

Codfish United earned yet another victory this week, defeating the Boxford Bandits. The first half, was led with Kelsie in goal, leaving the Bandits scoreless at the half. The Codfish offense came alive in the second half, with Cecilia, Olivia, Heidy, Sarah and Sam all dominating. It was a great effort by the girls to win the game with a shutout over the Boxford Bandits. With only one game left, CFU is still undefeated at 9-0-0

Last week, Codfish United played against the undefeated Vikings.  The beginning of the game was a bit rocky but after a few minutes, the team came together and played a great game.  Codfish United had a shutout game with the great goal tending efforts of Mackenzie and Sam.  Heidy, Olivia, Sarah and Kelsie played a very strong offense and scored 5 goals!  Cecilia and Holly played defense and worked very hard to keep the Vikings out of our territory.  The team is now 8-0-0!!!!
